About this Rane Erie RK12E Commercial Healthcare Bathtub
The Rane Erie RK12E is a freestanding, side-entry bathtub for nursing homes, assisted living and other care facilities. The bather steps over an 11 in. threshold or transfers through the wide door onto a contoured seat, and the caregiver can reach them easily because the tub stands free of the wall. It holds a bather up to 600 lb and fills to about 48 gallons in about 3 minutes. Made in the USA by Rane in Sparta, Tennessee.

A common rule of thumb is a water heater that holds at least two-thirds of the tub's capacity. For this tub, that's about 32 gallons or more per bath. Facilities running baths back to back need more. Ask your plumber or facilities team.

When it arrives
- For your convenience, we contract the trucking company to provide 24 hour delivery notice.
- You MUST inspect your order for damage upon its arrival.
- If in the rare instance there is damage, you MUST indicate that there is damage on the delivery paperwork.
- You will be notified with your Pro Number once your order ships. A Pro Number is the name for Over The Road tracking numbers.

Warranty Information
- 5 years on external finishes and the composite shell.
- 3 years on all moving and stationary parts, including valves, air spa blower, whirlpool pumps, actuators, door mechanisms, hinges, gauges and thermometers.
- Lifetime warranty on the door seal.
- Shower and disinfectant hoses, handheld shower wands and disinfectant spray wands are excluded.
- The Warranty Registration Card must be received by Rane to activate warranty coverage.
- Every return needs a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number from Rane.
Warranty
Rane Bathing Systems products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years for external finishes and composite shell, three (3) years for all moving and stationary parts, including but not limited to, valves, air spa blower, whirlpool pumps, actuators, door mechanisms, hinges, gauges, thermometers, and Lifetime for the door seal. Shower and disinfectant hoses, handheld shower wands, and disinfectant spray wands are excluded from this warranty.
Commencement of Warranty Period
Warranty commences on the date of shipment to Customer and/or Dealer.
Repair or Replacement
During the warranty period, Rane will repair or replace any defective parts or portion thereof returned by Customer and/or Dealer if Rane determines was defective due to faulty materials or workmanship. The Customer and/or Dealer must obtain a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number from Rane. The Customer and/or Dealer will pay all related labor and return costs incurred in the replacement, installation, or repair of the defective parts or portion thereof to Rane. Rane retains the exclusive right to repair or replace the defective products or parts or portion thereof at its sole discretion.
In the event that it is determined that the cost of warranty repairs and/or parts is excessive, Rane may require the Customer and/or Dealer to provide a written report and pictures of defect for review.
In the event that replacement parts are sent by Rane to the Customer and/or Dealer before the defective parts have been received and reviewed by Rane, the Customer and/or Dealer will be invoiced for the replacement parts and shipping costs. Once the defective parts have been received by Rane, and deemed to be defective due to faulty materials or workmanship, a credit or refund will be issued to the Customer and/or Dealer.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Remedies
The warranties and remedies contained herein are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties express or implied or statutory, including any liability arising under any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, statutory or otherwise. In no event shall Rane be liable for any incidental, special, indirect or consequential damages, whether resulting from the use, misuse, or inability to use this Product or defects in the Product.
Warranty of parts subject to normal wear and tear (i.e. cushions, pads, lap and shoulder belts, shower wands, and hoses) are not covered under this warranty except as it applies to the defects in materials and workmanship.
Voiding of Warranties
The warranty does not cover products or parts thereof that have been subjected to abuse, misuse, neglect, unauthorized alteration or repair, damage during installation, or improper installation as per the instructions provided by Rane.
