How do you know if the toilet seat is round or elongated? Measure the distance from the bolt that secures the lid and seat to the toilet, to the front of the toilet. Most commonly round bowls are 16.5” and elongated are 18.5”.

Are there Medicare or Medicaid codes for the Toilet Seat Lifter? Medicaid code E0172 recognizes the need for patients whom therapeutic modalities and products such as raised toilet seats or toilet safety rails have failed to enable the patient to transfer from a chair to a standing position.

Will this product work with a wall mounted toilet? No, the TILT will not work with a wall-mounted toilet. A wall-mounted toilet does not supply the support and weight-bearing capability required for the TILT to operate properly.

How much room is required to install and operate the TILT on a toilet? 6” on each side of the toilet bowl and 14” across the toilet seat. Also, an additional 7” to 8” in front of the toilet is needed.

Is a toilet seat included with the unit? Yes, a toilet seat is included with every lift and comes already assembled to the unit.

What power is needed to operate the TILT? Is there a battery backup? The TILT runs off of standard household voltage and simply plugs into a wall outlet. We do not offer a battery backup option at this time. The electrical cord length is 10 foot.

What warranty does this product have? The TILT has a 2-year warranty. A full supply of service parts are also available to support the life of the product.

What should I use to clean the TILT? The TILT has a plastic removable shield which can be cleaned using a soft cloth with warm water and mild soap. The frame should be cleaned often as urine can break down the powder coated finish. This too can be cleaned using a soft cloth with warm water and mild soap.
